Frenetic Fretwork
and brooding basslines are the order of the day for the track that is
destined to be the set closer when they’re headlining Reading (give it a
year or two).
Double A-side ‘K.O’ is reminiscent
of Californian rock, featuring some truly gorgeous harmonies and making
less than subtle nods to the true forefathers of UK Rock n Roll. It is a
slightly more sedate affair than its fellow title track but don’t think
that means less depth or energy. Managing somehow to blend the better
elements of the token ballad with a killer punked up riff and still
leaving you wanting to jump around this little gem makes the prospect of
a Ga*Ga*s debut album all the more exciting. |
