It's really quite scary in that what almost seems like a product of boredom
morphed into what some would immediately and readily cite as the epitome of rock n’ roll mayhem this side of... whatever it is that divides us from whatever’s on the other side. SS666 (as they’re referred to in politically correct corporate record stores the world over) really have no competition in the field they staked their rock n’ roll claim in (that’d be being the epitome of rock n’ roll then). Standing on a mountain in hell,
Ginger (ex Wildhearts,
Clam Abuse), Dregen (Backyard
Babies), Nick Royale and Tomas Skogsberg are laughing really, really hard in yours, mine and everybody else’s faces. This spur of the moment flashpoint elation creation spawned a six track mini-album which has melted turntables and CD players everywhere (it’s true, just ask a friend if it hasn’t
happened to you) and fooled expensive stereo owners into thinking their tweeters, woofers and boomers had been destroyed. Click
here for Dante’s chronicle of a modern day rock n’ roll fairy tale...
With the reformation of
The Wildhearts and Dregens ongoing commitments to the Backyard
Babies the SS666 project was put on ice indefinitely in 2002. |
