| Biography |
Formed in London in 1999, Inhale recorded a demo EP that got them play-listing on
XFM. Encouraged by this they gigged around, and did some more recording at the now-defunct Nomis Studios, with Jim Lowe at the production helm. This EP also got them play-listing on
XFM, and radio around the country. DJ's and student radio, clubs and press alike loved the songs. At this point, last year they auditioned and got Pid on drums - a total powerhouse drummer, whose skill amazes audiences. They have their own label, Jam Inc, through which they release material.
After several more months gigging and touring, they needed to find a new bass player - by bizarre accident the promo night they run every 2 weeks at the West One Four in London, had on a band called
Device, and the bass player, Chris, had answered an audition ad in
NME. So Inhale had hired Chris, but ended up playing on the night with their old bass player, with Chris playing for
Device.
Inhale have completed 4 UK tours and had no less than 4 tracks play-listed on XFM and regional radio,
they have a publishing deal through SSM Freesports and short films, and
are the partners of FiveMilesHigh in the Plush*
promotion night at Club West One Four, West Kensington. Inhale recently played a gig for Five Miles High at the Borderline where they supported
Antiproduct.
Inhale have endorsement deals from Ampeg, DW Drums, Paiste cymbals and MesaBoogie amps plus Godin Guitars (as used by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, My Vitriol, and
Metallica), they've got radio play around the UK on BBC radio and ILR’s and storming alternative club DJ reviews who love the stuff.
Sadly Inhale split in 2002. Stu went off to join
Candyheads and Chris rejoined his
earlier band
Device. |
